On Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm the Polk County Historical Association will have a program about growing up in the small community of Lynn. The unincorporated village of Lynn is centrally located between the towns of Columbus and Tryon.
This photograph is reminiscent of a scene from a 1950 movie. Pictured (left to right) Front row: Bill Foster, Fred Justice and Dud Tucker; Back row: Preston Foster, Billy McCurry, Buck Ford and Joe Dedman. Come learn about what it was like growing up in Lynn. Billy McCurry and others will be our guest.
The public is invited to the program on Tuesday which will be held inside the Polk County Museum at 60 Walker Street in downtown Columbus. There is no cost to attend the presentation.
