Did you know that genealogy has replaced gardening at the number one hobby in the United States? Learning about one's ancestors is both fascinating and fun. It is not a difficult hobby but learning a few techniques on how to search could save time and effort.

The Polk County Historical Association is offering a Genealogy 101 class for any interested residents. The Fall classes will be taught on Tuesdays beginning on October 9th and continuing for four consecutive weeks at 2pm.
